Such a great user experience. Very easy to use. It has colorful large buttons to start all sort of applications like news, weather or games. I can see a picture of my family so I can select for making a call.
very good
So far so good when it comes to setting up a simple interface and apps and games to go with it for a mentally disabled person. However, after admin access has been requested, and the caregiver has updated the senior's interface, the admin buttons disappear after the care giver has closed the program. The senior has to remove the help request, and re-request help again. That makes things difficult, and I would like to keep using this, but it is a deal breaker
Great app to combat Covid19 restrictions on visiting care home. I have posted negative report previously but now realise problem was beyond Oscar Senior staffs control. My Mother (86) describes it as " just like a vist" and also very easy to use.
Tried it for the auto answer function for Grandma. Doesn't work 95% of the time
I am using Oscar Senior with my Mom for more than a year and I am very grateful for this app. Especially during last few weeks because of pandemic. She is locked down and this is the only way how I (and the rest of our family) connect to her. Even I used this on my iPhone and trying to also has Android device, and it works properly. Thank you.
This is not an app, it's an interface. I'm not sure what they think is simple about a senior having to relearn an entire interface. Make it an app and keep it simple. I was looking for a simple app with nice easy big buttons to read and use for my elderly mother to make video calls with my grandson. This is nothing of the sort. It wants to completely change your Android interface.
Crashes when accessing contact on senior's device. Unusable.
This app in theory is great; however, the execution was extremely poor. I downloaded this app for my grandmother and purchased the family subscription with an auto monthly payment. Almost every time we tried to use it, one of us would receive an error about our subscription not being valid. My app still says my subscription expired in Dec 2018 but I have been charged every month in 2019. I have canceled multiple times through the app and reached out to Oscar. Apple had to step in to help
The app is unintuitive, as a tool to help an older relative it's useless and to see that there's a subscription for it is ridiculous. The trial couldn't even help with what i needed this app for which was to remote into my elderly aunt's phone and help her.
